Co-Curricular Programs

Hello parents! Zion SDA Primary School is committed to developing each child holistically, which includes physical development. We therefore teach, Physical Education as a subject, but we also have students join our school’s sports team. Once a child signs up for the team, they are expected to be present for practice sessions, and they must bring their sports wear whenever there is practice. The team competes against other primary schools in disciplines such as football, volleyball, softball, basketball, and track & field. For the past 2 years, Zion has been a part of the Computer Science program initiated by the Government of Belize. We were given laptops for students to use, BBC Microbits for students to learn to code, and also multiple robotic kits that students can use to bring their creativity to life. This year, we want to start our Robotics after-school program, starting in January 2026.
